Stella McCartney, one of the pioneers of sustainable fashion, is launching her most sustainable swimwear collection to date for Autumn Winter 2020.
Stella McCartney is an English fashion designer, daughter of English singer-songwriter Sir Paul McCartney, and a firm supporter of animal rights.
Her latest collection features environmentally friendly materials with a simple yet elegant and stylish design. It's very encouraging to see fashion designers like Stella McCartney create beautiful and timeless styles that will last through the years.
It's one of the most effective techniques in sustainable design to ensure that clothes won't go out of style easily and customers will wear them for a long time.
Oftentimes, less is more. Simple cuts, clean shapes, and classic silhouettes are the essentials to make durable, functional, and versatile pieces that scream modernity and sustainability.
Stella McCartney's new sustainable swimwear collection offers high-quality monochrome bikinis and swimsuits with the latest standards in environmentally friendly materials.
It's her most sustainable collection swimwear collection to date, with pieces created almost entirely from eco-friendly fabrics such as Econyl and Q-NOVA recycled nylons, and organic cotton.
"Reflecting a world where travel is limited, but sunshine is not, our Autumn Winter 2020 swimwear collection brings the holiday to the every day; a youthful, pared-back approach that makes a splash whether on a beach vacation or a poolside staycation. [...] Our new swimwear takes a laid back, youthful approach - emphasizing unstructured silhouettes and dynamic details while remaining inclusive and effortlessly flattering. Relaxed, refined, and responsibly made from sustainable materials."
- Stella McCartney, English fashion designer
The pieces presented here were captured by creative duo Melanie and Ramon on a minimalist shoot in Paris. They showcase a bold, energetic signature with the functionality and modernity of the urban woman.
The inclusive and effortlessly flattering details are part of the statement pieces including wavy Ruched Onda print swimsuits and coverups, Fringes bikinis and one-pieces, ready-to-wear-inspired Ruched Orange motifs and athletic, logo-trimmed Sporty Elastic styles.
