Sustainability Practices
"Sustainability is one of the world’s most pressing issues. For us, sustainability is not just a press release - but our belief. [...] Every decision makes a difference. By choosing less and well, we can make a good impact. With AMBILETICS you are supporting sustainable and fair activewear."
Ambiletics aims to make a positive impact. It tackles the challenge of creating highly functional and ecological yoga and activewear to revolutionize the sportswear market.
Ambiletics uses a high amount of GOTS certified organic cotton and recycled polyester made of PET bottles to create its clothes, as well as semi-synthetic bamboo viscose to make its towels.
Organic cotton is much more environmentally friendly than regular cotton. It saves a lot of water and energy and is free of toxic chemicals. On the other hand, viscose isn't the most sustainable fabric.
Ambiletics sports clothes are produced exclusively and sustainably in a carefully selected manufacturing plant in Portugal. It works with a lot of traditional family-run businesses.
However, Ambiletics doesn't state if audits are conducted to ensure social standards, good working conditions, and identify potential risk areas.
Ambiletics doesn't sell any clothing made from animal-derived materials. The brand is 100% vegan and received the PETA Approved Vegan certification.
Sustainability Goals
Ambiletics doesn't show any measurement of its greenhouse gas emissions, water, land, and energy use, pollution, and waste across its supply chain. It doesn't have any clear sustainability goal or timeline to improve in the future either.

What We're Up Against
Multinational corporations overproducing cheap products in the poorest countries.
Huge factories with sweatshop-like conditions underpaying workers.
Media conglomerates promoting unethical, unsustainable products.
