Blundstones have been around for over 100 years, and are a well-known quality shoe brand. Their boots are used for worksites, hiking, and everyday wear. They can be worn for every season, but can they be worn in the snow? It depends on what type you are wearing.

Regular Blunndstones are not one hundred percent waterproof, nor are they meant for severely cold temperatures. The company has a winter boot that is completely waterproof and has a removable insulated footbed made from sheepskin to help keep your feet warm.

The rubber bottom with its deep grooves of every Blundstone has a decent grip for snow and ice. They also have a shock protection system to add comfort on any hard surface like asphalt or ice.

Depending on how cold the temperature drops, adding a thick sock can be sufficient to keep your feet warm. In extremely cold temperatures, you might not find a Blundstone warm enough. They also go up just past the ankle, making them less than ideal for deep snow.

About Blundstone

About Blundstone

Blundstone is an Australian shoe company, started in 1870 in Tasmania, Australia. Originally, they were a work boot brand. To this day, they use textiles from a Tasmanian family-owned textile company. Their leather comes from a 100-year-old family-run leather tannery in Mexico.

In the 1990s, the boot brand gained traction with the everyday person, and their shoes are now sold for a variety of purposes. This brand prioritizes high-quality material and construction, for a shoe made to last.

The leather stretches to your foot shape for a custom fit. It is also very durable, and even after worn in the extremist of conditions, can look new again with proper cleaning and care.
